PURPOSE

As a Christian, our purpose is to have fellowship with God. God, our Father, created us with dreams only He could custom design for our lives. These dreams are His gifts to each of us. Our gift to Him is fulfilling these dreams through our God given talents/abilities.

The Purpose of Business Bread© is to bring like-minded Christians together in an effort to support the discovery, development and advancement of these dreams.

Everything is as it should be at this very moment. God’s design for your life is perfect. Use the Business Bread© luncheon to open doors; for you, for your business, for your ideas, and for others.

Not a Christian?
It’s o.k. You’re welcome to expand your mind and your business. No testimonials required and no quizzes about your belief system. No altar calls and no speaking in tongues. You’ll meet hard working people like yourself wanting to ‘go to the next level.’

Say what?
· State your name and company name.
· State your Ideal Referral. – Be specific in order to create a picture in our mind, “single moms, fat middle aged men, college graduates, etc.” Next week, you can pick a new ‘specific’ group.
o My ideal referrals this week are hospital employees who are homeowners.
· If others were to tell people what you do, what should they say?
o You can tell others, “I help people pay off their debt in as little as ½ to 1/3 the time with little to no change in their budget.”
Practice makes perfect.

When & Where?

Thursday, January 15th - Goal Setting for 2009

DeAngelo’s, 7970 Jefferson Hwy (Behind CC’s) Baton Rouge, LA
The goal is to share Business Bread© every 2nd Thursday of the month. (I know, Jan. 15th is not the 2nd TH.) Your response to our first Business Bread© luncheon is important to determine our direction. God is going to reveal the location after I have a better idea of what kind of attendance we’ll have.

Please, share your feedback.

What & How?

The Business Bread© luncheon includes a combination of networking and personal development. Structured networking begins at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at noon. Lunch includes a presentation of material congruent with our purpose.

Business Bread© presentations are designed to support the discovery, development and advancement of the dreams God has given us. Explore ideas on expanding your God given talents/abilities.

Personal Development Only?
You are welcome to come closer to noon if your only goal is to expand your mind.

Why do this?

When I lived in Texas, I regularly attended Prestonwood Church's Power Lunch. I loved it and have not found anything like it in the Baton Rouge area. I was also a member of eWomenNetwork. My friends, Kym & Sandra Yancey, founded this networking concept with a uniquely structured business exchange encouraging relationships. This was long before I ever heard of BNI.

It has been on my heart for years, "If you can't find it, create it." Well, I guess the time has come. I've been thinking about it for years. And, of course, I want it done my way. That settles it. I need to make it happen.

I'm working out the details. It needs to begin in January.

I'll keep you posted.
